A Message from the outgoing President
For the last two (2) years, it has been a privilege to serve as President of this growing and getting-to-be popular Filipino Golf organization in New Jersey. Like in any organization, there are various elements that make the job of being at the helm both challenging and exciting. I am proud to say that I’ve survived many of the challenges due in most part to the support of the Executive Committee, the Tour Coordinators and to the general membership for which I’m very grateful.
To be associated with the group of people that work together as members and officers of POGI year after year makes me proud and inspired to do more. Now that I have finished my term and will continue on as a regular member, I pledge my support to the new officers. While it’s a relief that I can unload all the duties of running this organization to the new president, I will always make myself available for whatever help I can give to ensure that the new administration will benefit from my past experience and knowledge to make their job a success.
Lastly, knowing that I will be passing the baton to the new president who in his rookie year earned the prestigious POGI Player of the Year award makes me extremely confident that our golf club is heading in the right direction.
Congratulations and good luck to the new Executive Committee members.
