A Message from the President
As President of the Philippine Organization of Golfers Inc. (POGI”), I cordially extend a welcome to our new and returning members for the 2010 season. For almost ten years, POGI has aimed for our members to “Be Long” through our weekly games, annual tournaments, and the Fall Golf Getaway. Through our activities, we continually foster friendship and unity among our members and the golfing community.
For our members, we are proud to announce new additions and changes to our activities. The website has been updated to provide the option of signing up for specific tee times. Additionally, we have re-formatted the yearly stroke and match play competitions by creating the “Palmer” and “Nicklaus” divisions, based upon player handicap and playing tees. Finally, our annual competitions will take place at facilities providing a modified shotgun, thereby permitting all of us to begin and finish our rounds together.
