7th Heaven - July 26, 2008, Minebrook GC, Hackettstown, NJ - Cary Africa, shoots 33 in the front, falters in the back and shoots 39. His confidence got the best of Cary when he started buying his foursome drinks. His 2 over Par was still good enough to capture the 7th POGI Open. With a field of 68 players coming from POGI, SWAG and the surprise entry from the "Mercer Oaks Boys", it earned the honor of being the highest contested POGI Open since it began in 2002. Dear POGI Members:

Greetings and welcome to our 2008 season.
I'm delighted to be your president for the year 2008-2009. I must admit that I have very big shoes to fill as your president but I'm confident that with your help and the help of each member of the Executive Committee, we will make this season of golf a great experience for everyone.

I would like to personally invite all of you to please participate in our tournaments as well as our weekly games. I sincerely hope that we can continue the level of enthusiasm and participation that we have had in the past towards the coming weeks and months.
